At SBE, collaboration is key, and that’s exactly what we want you to experience.
The SBE Student Challenge brings students together from all kinds of schools, majors and backgrounds to work on one big integrated project. A true mix of minds, disciplines, and fresh ideas.
The concept for the 2026–2027 academic year
The challenge is a design competition on an architectural, landscape and technical level, best tackled in teams with a mix of students from different disciplines. But don’t worry, you won’t be on your own! We’ve planned three workshop days at SBE’s office in Sint-Niklaas (November, February & March 2027, exact dates will be set together with you).
These days are all about connecting with fellow students and experts in a relaxed setting. You’ll work hands-on with the different design topics linked to the assignment. Our 3 promises: inspiration, technical enrichment and real-life insights into the profession.
The grand finale? Presenting your project to a professional jury during the last workshop day. The winning team will take home a cash prize of €2.000.
